Mission
The mission of this role is to take full control of all our current products we have and own product development process from start to finish and all the key product metrics. Translating business strategy into product strategy will be one of your key functions. This will be visible through a well thought out product road map that is easy to understand and inspires the development team to action.
The product manager would also need to understand our customers, why they are using Fliqpay, where they are dropping off and how to make the experience better for customers. Our PM would need to have a perfect understanding of metrics, our metrics and be willing to try new things to improve our numbers. Your ability to prioritize ruthlessly, drive execution, and communicate effectively will be major ingredients to your success in this role.
What You’ll Be Expected To Do At Fliqpay
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Create and own the roadmap; prioritise initiatives according to aggregate needs, with defensible reasoning that aligns stakeholders and energizes the design and engineering teams
Monitor and communicate updates on product priorities to internal and external stakeholders
Document ideas and plans; be the face of the product working directly with partners and our users
Draw out feedback from our users on their experience with using our existing products
Align teams on a shared vision and steer the company towards the execution of that vision
Drive the decision-making process across all the aspects of product development (strategy, design, technology, launch)
Define, monitor and analyze metrics to guide product improvements.
Work with our external partners to deliver solutions that will solve problems for our users
Drive progress across product initiatives by removing blockers from the team and going the extra mile to ensure that the product objectives are met
Make several decisions daily on the best path to success for our product objectives
