Crypto Job Listing for EMEA/APAC Partnerships Director
CoinDesk is seeking an experienced high performing self-starter to be responsible for all sales, business development, and client relationships in EMEA or APAC. With the borderless nature of digital assets and decentralized protocols, these regions are home to industry hot beds like London, Tel Aviv, Singapore, Hong Kong, and many more. As a key member of CoinDesk’s global Partnerships team, the person in this role will manage and grow the existing clients in the territory, identify and build new relationships, and become a leader in both regions' crypto and global investor community. The person who will thrive in this role has a proven history of creating opportunities and earning the trust of clients.
This role reports to the Managing Director, Partnerships based in New York.
Responsibilities
Play the key leadership role throughout EMEA or APAC with a heavy focus on delivering client ROI through smart solutions and client service.
Business development skills to engage companies from start-up to Fortune 500 levels.
Regularly achieve and exceed sales targets.
Positive and productive collaboration with the global partnerships team is vital, as well as business leads within CoinDesk. We thrive as a team.
Responsible for representing all CoinDesk products, which includes live events (virtual and in person), digital media, video, podcasts, newsletters, thought leadership, research, and webinars.
In APAC, responsible for working successfully with existing media partners in China, Japan, and Korea.
This role is a new position. As such, this person must be comfortable working alone and handling the start-to-finish cycle in the sales process.
This role can be located anywhere in the EMEA & APAC regions.
Qualifications
10+ years of high-level client facing media sales experience within crypto, global finance, and/or tech sectors.
Must prove an ability to self-manage and self-start. Must also prove organizational skills as it relates to client relationships and internal communication.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and periodically longer than one week.
Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Powerpoint, Slack, G Suite.
Multi-lingual a bonus; English a must.
